Synopsis(taken from youtube):
Matsuda had to sign some paper to close the 'Kira' case. But he wouldn't do that. He's not sure if the case should be closed or not. He said he couldn't understand what Light believed in is justice, nor what L had done. Then, Matsuda was given a note written by Soichiro Yagami, Light's father. It says that "Go see Ryuzaki" (Ryuzaki is L's false name). He decided to visit L.

He bought some cakes for L and visited him. Matsuda handed the box of cakes to L. L said, "A farewell gift to a person who is dying soon. You have my gratitude." Then, Matsuda was angry at him. he said to L, "Now you have only 2 weeks to live, don't you?! Stop working! Do anything you like, such as dating a girl, or traveling anywhere you like, whatever. Why don't you spend the rest of your time for yourself! At least do not pretend going dying is no big deal". Then he left.

After leaving L's house, Matsuda called Soichiro. He said, "I had said mean things to Ryuzaki, I'm really sorry". Suddenly a delivery man appeared and handed him a basket of crepes.
There were some messages from L on the wrapping paper. It said, "Sugar will improve your brain function. Eating lots of crepes, be clever. YOU IDIOT." Matsuda, crying while eating the crepes, shouted, "L, YOU, HYOTTOKO YAROOO!".
Matsuda wondered how L would live only 23days which is all of his life left..

*"Hyottoko" is a mask L was wearing in the movie.
*"yaro" means "guy" in Japanese.



A commercial which it's 'dai yan ren' is Matsuyama Kenichi AKA, L.Lawliet...
